ACROSS THE RIVER STYX

I await his bony hands,

To lead me to the boat of life,

A boat that drifts

Along the river Styx.

                Wonder passes through my mind

As I see the world and life pass by.

On stark contrast I suddenly realize

Pure knowledge, thought and utter thrall!

An observer of life I seek to be

And  in the sea of life I dip in between

To enjoy its riches

And to cry in its pain

I seek the eternal truth hidden from me.

And on this wondrous journey I begin

Seeking through  the heart of truth.

And in the heart I seek myself

Perhaps I shall see GOD itself!
